Dissolve Shader


The Dissolve Shader makes parts of an object dissolve using a dissolve pattern texture. Areas in the texture control which parts dissolve, with white areas staying visible and black areas dissolving.
The Step node creates a clear boundary for where the dissolve happens. Edge Color adds a glowing effect around the dissolve, and Alpha Clip handles transparency, making dissolved areas fully transparent. The shader keeps the object's color, smoothness, and other properties intact while applying the dissolve effect.
